1. How long have you been in business?
Sim Pro Video & Audio has been open for business
since September of 2001. It's owners Dan &
Ruth Punch are a husband and wife team, who have
been working in video production since 1993.
2. What is your shooting style?
At Sim Pro Video & Audio we shoot in documentary
non-obtrusive style. We capture your moments as
they unfold. Brides sometimes ask us, if we move
around during the wedding ceremony? Our reply is
we do our jobs by capturing your special moments
rather then creating unwelcome scenes.
3. How many hours of coverage will we have?
The length of coverage is dependent on the type of
package you select. We are flexible to make special
arrangements to meet your needs.
4. How many videographers do you provide?
This depends on the video package you select. We
can provide as many videographers and as much
camera coverage as necessary to capture your event.
5. What type of cameras and tapes do you use?
Sim Pro Video & Audio productions uses "3-Chip
digital" mini DV cameras (Sony DSR-PDX10 digital
3-CCD). Our digital cameras have 530 lines of
resolution (more lines of resolution equals better
picture quality). Our productions are recorded on
Maxell mini DV tapes and transferred to a DVD after
the edit is complete.
6. What kind of lighting do you use?
We use camera mounted 50-Watt lights. The
camera light has a shade and we bounce the lighting
off white ceilings, whenever possible. Our cameras
are low light sensitive and do not require a large
amount of light, to create superior video.
7. How many and what kind of microphones do you
use?
Audio quality is just as important as video quality. We
use a UHF wireless microphone system. At a wedding
ceremony, we place a wireless microphone on the
groom and hook another wireless microphone directly
into the sound system, if possible. If this is not
possible, we set a microphone up as close to the
sound system as possible. When videoing
interviews, we use a wireless hand held microphone.
8. How do you edit the video?
Sim Pro Video & Audio edits with two editing
systems, Sony Vegas Movie and Pinnacle Studio
Plus. These editing software systems are all
digital, non-linear editing systems. For writing and
burning DVDs, we use the Nero 8 Ultra Edition.

11. Are you familiar with our event location(s)?
If Sim Pro Video & Audio hasnot yet videotaped a
production at your location(s), we will contact and
visit your site(s), prior to your event, to be sure the
videographers know where they are to be, on the day
of your event.
12. What will you be wearing?
Our videogrpahers dress in professional business style
attire.
